Hi all. Here is a suggestion. Is it possible to still see people come in and out while only receiving private quicknotes? If not, can that be implemented?

I believe this has been asked before. I have no memory of whether it is possible or if any of the CL's or admins even answered, though. I agree it would be kind of nice to not have publics on and know when someone you want to talk to has logged in, but I just check the list of log ins from time to time if I am looking for someone.

And before someone says stalk them with person watch, that is not an option for me, in my current state (financially and all that stuff). So yeah, that should be a good feature on the horizon.

It's more than likely something that Chris oor J would have to change with the site coding itself. If it is possible that would be cool, though.

And you don't see people giving points out with publics off, either. I came in with five million one day and didn't know where it came from.

Here's the thing. On one hand I can see why people want certain information when they have publics off, but on the other hand, if you want to know every time someone logs on or off and you want every message saying someone is giving points, then just turn publics on and learn to ignore the ones you don't want to read. I don't think it can be set up so that only wanted public messages get through the filter if you have publics turned off.
